Back Pain

Hi there,
So I went to the chiropractor and I have some problems with my sacrum. Basically, I need to be adjusted and stretch more often. Not a big deal...I'll get better.
We had a great leg day today!!!

Ouch!

So, for the last few weeks, I've felt kinda out 'a' wack. My bones have just felt crooked and my muscles felt kinda tight. I thought about going to the chiropractor, but I never made an appointment.
Well, yesterday was back day- we started with deadlifts. Six heavy sets- no problem. Then we went to this rowing machine and in the second set my I got this sharp pain in my sacrum (tailbone). It hurt so bad I had to lay down for a minute. A trainer tried to adjust me- nothing- and my butt still hurts!
I made an appointment with a chiropractor for Friday, but until then, every time I slightly bend over my butt hurts! Luckily, today is my rest day- but I'm training shoulders tomorrow morning! I'm just so mad! I don't get hurt! I think I train correctly and try to keep good form on everything, but somewhere I messed up and now my but hurts!

Can't wait for the weekend!

I had a great shoulder workout this morning. I got that deep burn and I even had fun doing cardio.

I can't wait for the weekend. I don't know why!? Maybe because I don't have to work or school. Maybe because we can take our time in the gym, maybe because Sunday is leg day! I don't know why I'm so excited.

My training partner and I will be taking progress pictures this weekend.

Getting into it...the "diet high"

Oh my gosh, I'm still really sore from leg day.

Yesterday, I was HUNGRY! Yesterday I was so hungry all day...it made me think I might not be giving myself enough calories. I may have to tweak it a little this weekend. My diet is really starting to work now and I'm getting into it.
I'm getting my cardio and almost 2 gallons of water in...I'm having great workouts....I'm starting to get that "diet high." This is what I call that feeling when you have a show (goal) coming up and your doing everything possible for it. You start to really get into your routine, the same routine everyday. YOUR IN THE ZONE for months! I love it.
Not many people under stand the "diet high." Most people hate to diet...I am starting to love it...I guess that's why I'm a bodybuilder.

Oh yeah!

I am sore! My training partner, his girlfriend and I had a great workout on Sunday. We did different things, but all had a great workout.
Amy- DEEP squats w/ barbell superset with leg presses 4 sets. Then 4 sets weighted front lunges superset with weighted rear lunges...Ouch! Finally, hamstring curls and calves.
Dora- Wide squats w/ barbell superset with leg presses. Then 4 sets front lunges. And hamstring curls and calves.
Tony- Wide heavy squats w/ barbell superset with leg presses. Then 2 sets weighted front lunges and 2 sets weighted rear lunges. And hamstrings and calves.
We are sore today! I love it!!

My diet is starting to work. I'm seeing subtle differences.
Dora starts her diet today...GOOD LUCK DORA!

How can it be?

My training partner and I had a kick ass leg workout on Sunday. We did barbell step ups, a killer leg press routine, leg extenstions, leg curls and calves. I was so exhausted on Sunday! I was dreading being (really) sore over the next couple days. I even had that achy feeling Sunday night. You know, that ooh- I'm going to hurt tomorrow feeling.

Well, I woke up Monday- NOT SORE AT ALL! Today is Tuesday and I'm still not even the slightest bit sore!? WHY! I WANT TO BE SORE NOW!!

Oh well- it was still a great workout.

INTRODUCING.....!

Rough Draft of the Diet

Here’s a look at my diet. It’s just about 2000 calories. I’m trying it out for a few weeks because I know my body burns the most fat with low or no carbs, but I probably won’t use it more than 6 weeks.

1 scoop protein powder

2 scoops protein powder
1 serving of walnuts or almonds **Every 6 days I eat 250 g of
carbs. I replace the fat with
4 oz chicken rice cakes, pasta, oatmeal,
1 whey shake sweet potatoes or cream of
rice.
6oz tuna
lettuce
1tbs. Olive oil

4 oz steak

4 egg whites
1 whole egg
½ serving of almonds

3 oz steak
1 serving of almonds or walnuts
asparagus

Down again, but back up!

I've had a horrible cold for 2 days, but now thanks to the Z-Pack (antibiotics) I'm 1000% better. Today is Friday, my birthday, and I'm not dieting today! I just ate some ice cream cake and I'm going to dinner to eat some more with my boyfriend tonight. I'm still 19 weeks out, so I'm not too concerned about eating too much. I still have plenty of time to whip myself into great shape. I think I will get to take some pictures this weekend and put them up. I still have to write my diet up for you too...man I'm slippin.
