Fun at the USAs and more to come

Hello,

I had a great time at the USAs in Vegas! It was great to see friends and folks I only get to hang out with at National shows.

I'm SO proud of my friend Holly. She moved up to Heavy weight class and rocked out a 2nd place! I'm so proud of all my friends that competed. It was a tough show. Lots of amazing athletes! Christine Sabo won her Lt. Hvy class... I think she should have gotten the overall too.

I am now headed to Seattle, WA to visit friends of mine. They have a house on Fox Island. I've never been to WA so I'm really excited!

So far, I've done really well with my food. I actually forgot to eat in Vegas alot. Didn't party much and trained everyday! Feeling good.

OH! Guess what I did??!?!? A friend of a friend is a gymnastics coach and spotted me on a bunch of backhandsprings and backtucks! I haven't done that since before I got really sick in 2002!! My knee didn't like it all that much, but OH IT FELT SO GOOD!!!!! I can't wait to work on my tumbling skills again soon.

I will post some pictures when my room mate emails me a few.

See ya!

Training is going well!

I am consistantly training now. I'm sore everyday, but it's a good sore...-right?!

I'm headed to Vegas for the USAs this weekend! I'm excited!!

I forgot how expensive contest prep was. I am getting my finances together for it, but I need to find sponsors! SO IF ANYONE OUT THERE OR IN THE PHOENIX AREA WANTS TO SPONSOR A NICE YOUNG BODYBUILDER- LET ME KNOW!?!! HAHA..

Have a great weekend!

Ok... Break is over

Hi everyone, last you know of I'm recovering from my knee surgery, feeling lazy and sorry for myself. Well, I've really used this past 5 months to enjoy my time off. I have been playing a LOT and loving every minute of it! Camping, kayaking, wake boarding, partying.... everything that this new wonderful state of AZ has to offer!

I saw my surgeon last month and I've already stretched my new ACL. I have been a little too hard on it. The surgeon said if I want it to stop hurting I need to STOP stressing it- Oh! I get it!... but that hasn't slowed me down...so it still hurts.

About 2 weeks ago, I realized I was about done with the whole party scene. I miss the "real Amy," meaning the active, energetic, happy little bodybuilding fitness guru. So, I'm finally getting consistent in the gym. I'm not sure where this new health/lifting kick will lead, but maybe I'll compete before the end of the year. I want to do a fitness competition, but I realistically won't be able to use my knee the way I want for a year.
So wish me luck and thanks for all the support and emails even though I haven't been around for a while.
I'm heading to Las Vegas at the end of the month to watch a bunch of friends kick butt at the USAs!! Go Holly! Go Doug! Go Dora! Go Rob! and many more!
