Happy Holidays and Hello!
I want to wish everyone Happy and Safe Holidays!
Here's a little update. I am living in Phoenix, AZ now. I love it! I have been mountain biking, off-roading, hiking and learning how to live in the wild wild west! I have backed off my training for a while. I am still weight-training, but not as hard and I'm not nearly as focused, but, you know, I'm ok with that. I needed a break from the bodybuilding world. I am training more functional and I have to say, my body has never felt better!
I am living in a small studio and working at an amazing company with amazing people called TEAMCORE Fitness Group of AZ. I am so glad I moved here for this. Everything I expected with the move and job has been exceeded! I am truly happy out here. And, it feels really good to be able to "live" and enjoy life.
Oh! Guess what!??! I met someone with Guillian-Barre Syndrome! (That's the weird disease I had that is pretty rare.) Here's how:
I went to my first AZ local bodybuilding show...and asked this random guy next to me a question. Then later, at the finals I saw him again, said "Hi" and got this feeling about him. His name is Louis, but there was something about him....!! I asked him what his story was and he told me he had GBS! I flipped out! We were both speechless for 20 mins! Anyway, he is a great friend to me out here!
I will try to be more consistent with this blog, but sitting at the computer, as you all know, is not something I can do for long periods of time or enjoy. I will also get you some pictures soon too.
Take care and Best Wishes!!!
